June 2015 Newsletter - Getting Involved...

April proved to be another productive and rewarding month as we aligned ourselves with the Crawford Prep Sandton Community Service Project. Represented by a group of Grade 7's, The Baby Ethan Foundation provided a wish list which they handed to patrons of Pick 'n Pay Morningside on Saturday morning 25 April.

A successful morning was experienced by all... the boys really enjoyed their contribution to the foundation and two trolleys were packed to the brim by generous Morningside shoppers. The foundation received excellent exposure to the public who were previously unaware of the work we do.

All baby products collected will be distributed to mom's at Rahima Moosa and Edenvale hospitals on July 18th as part of the Mandela Day initiative.

Making a difference one step at a time .......

2015 So far...

With the holidays here and gone, we started off the year by dropping off Easter eggs at Rahima Moosa and Edenvale Hospitals. As in previous years, these were very welcome!

We are thrilled that PnP has confirmed their ongoing sponsorship of our Mommy bags which will to enable us to continue giving these to moms when they leave the hospital to begin their journey...

As the year marches on, we will continue making a difference to neonatal ICU's, one step at a time...

2015 so far

Welcome to 2014

2013 ended on a great note with the Foundation completing the refurbishment of the Neonatal IC U ward at the Edenvale Hospital. The Staff at the hospital were so grateful for the donation of the magnificent artwork and snacks for the Festive season.

The Foundation had a special morning with the Moms and Nursing Staff at the Raheema Moosa Mother and Child Hospital. We decided to involve the younger members of the Foundation (all our kids) to add some extra smiles to the day! The snacks and treats were well received and some extra colour was added to the walls with a few pieces of art!
